What is CRS Score?
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to assess and rank candidates in the Express Entry pool. Your CRS score determines your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence. The system awards points based on factors including age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and additional factors like Canadian education or job offers. As of December 2025, the average CRS cut-off score ranges from 480-530 depending on the program and draw type.
