Waymark Immigration is located at Unit 312, 34334 Forrest Terrace, Abbotsford, BC V2S 1G7. To be direct about the thing people ask us first: we do not have a Surrey office. Every in-person meeting happens at our Abbotsford address, and everything else — intake, document review, follow-up, updates from IRCC — is handled by phone, video call, email or secure upload.
In practice, that arrangement suits Surrey clients well. Abbotsford and Surrey sit on the same Highway 1 corridor and share overlapping communities, employers and extended families. Many of the people we work with live in Newton, Fleetwood, Clayton Heights, Cloverdale, Guildford or Whalley, and they come to us because they want a licensed consultant who will speak with them in Punjabi and give them a straight answer about whether an application is realistic before any paperwork begins.
Getting Here from Surrey
The drive from most parts of Surrey to our Abbotsford office is around 35 to 40 minutes heading east on Highway 1, outside of peak traffic. From Newton or Cloverdale you would usually join Highway 1 at 176 Street or 200 Street and continue east through Langley; from Guildford or Fleetwood the run is straight along the freeway. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and before long weekends when traffic builds through Langley and Abbotsford.
Because the trip is short, many Surrey clients book one in-person meeting to review documents and sign what needs signing, then run the rest of the file remotely. Waymark is also authorized as a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits in British Columbia, so statutory declarations, invitation letters and travel consent letters can be sworn during the same visit rather than requiring a second trip.
Remote Consultations, If You Would Rather Not Drive
You do not have to come to Abbotsford at all. Consultations are available by telephone or video, and most of a modern immigration file moves electronically anyway: forms are completed and signed digitally, supporting documents are uploaded, and applications are submitted through IRCC's online portals. Do you speak Punjabi and Hindi?
Yes. Consultations are available in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Immigration decisions turn on details about your family, your work history and your finances, and those details come out far more accurately when you can speak in your own language. It also means parents, spouses and other family members can take part in the conversation directly instead of relying on someone to translate afterwards.
